    Now, you say it!

Yesterday, I was helping a friend sort out his Bronco. Our third time on it. Once during a quick trip while moving, the drivers caliper seized. The piston was phenolic and must have absorbed too much water sitting around. We replaced both of them with a metallic piston type, but the new passenger side was bad / not retracting. After that mess and we were finally close to getting them to be decent and were just doing a final quick bleed with the wheels on. I apparently didn't have the hose completely on the nipple and I was looking to see if there were air bubbles. Most of the splash hit my arm, but a dribble went in my eye. Weirdly, it only burned for a few seconds. I really thought that I was screwed, but life's been great since.

We're going to either adjust or replace the master. I will be using safety glasses.

    lol, I know right?

There's only a coupla things on the list of TSBs that didn't happen to my truck. I don't have the HPFP chirp......

I could make you a list, but that would just bring the ire of the "true fans".

Do you have extra travel from the top since the delete . Mine has an extra 2 in travel but at the same time seems adequate play from bottom before engagement.i do suspect may have some air as I rushed the bleeding.but even as is much better than stock.

Nope, everything is the same as before as far as freeplay and engagement point etc. Goofy delay is gone though - oh yeah.

Let em work themselves into an idiot frenzy. Man that buyers remorse thread really brought them out of woodwork. It was great, a little entertainment and it grouped them up in one place to make ignoring them all so easy.

Got back from vacation today and had this waiting for me in the mailbox. Looks good but I won't have time to install it tomorrow before I leave for KS for 2 weeks unfortunately.

Got mine from @Trident904 today (along with some other goodies).
I’m supposed to go to Toyota next week so they can change out my clutch pedal assembly. I might wait until after that before I do this bypass.

On a scale of 1-10 how worth it was this? It looks like a pain in the ass . Also, do they sell a part to do a swap or was this the only way

    It's a 12, no joke.

Wasn't a pain in the ass at all, but in all honesty I had access to a warm maintenance facility with a hoist.

12 isn't on the reference scale. It's just an erroneous number. And it does look annoying to do. Is there a part for this or is it necessary to rig it

Pretty easy to fab up your own kit. See first post for options and part numbers. Big thing is current weather. If you don't have a garage, (preferably with heat), you'll be laying on the ground to do it. For PITA reference, I say its about like changing a starter on an old Chevy pickup
