Correct. Both FOBs lock and unlock when I touch the handle and both turn the vehicle on ACC mode but when I press the brake and hit the switch again nothing new happens. Peeked at the fuses under the hood and they’re all fine. But without a volt meter I’m stumped.

did you try that procedure on the previous page where you hold the fob emblem side toward the smart start/stop button?

Go to the dealer and your truck will be black flagged. Forget warranty claims

Doe the steering wheel unlock when you try to start it?
Does the transmitting key symbol appear on the multi-info when you press the brake?
Is the security light in the A/C control illuminated?

If you have not done so already, check the pins and harness for damage where you made your connections earlier.

^^^that^^^ And get a multimeter to check the fuses, its hard to see the blown ones sometimes.

Sorry to hear this OP. I will say 12-Vot has been very responsive and knows these electrical things in and out. I’m sure it is something silly. I wouldn’t stress over it...yet.

When you press the brakes do your brake lights come on? When you try to start the truck is it telling you to press the brake? What does the screen say when you’re trying to start it?

See if you can borrow (or buy, they're cheap) something to read the codes it's throwing to make the dash panel tell you to check things. Use that as a starting point for troubleshooting.

If this module was programmed to in the start system with your FOB then would uninstalling it required some reprogramming to get back to stock setup?

Just throwing it in there, if no fuses are bad and all are harnesses plugged in correctly

This is unrelated but i added some sound mat to the insides of my doors on my WRX, super clean install, but had window issues, i couldnt get passenger to work and auto down to work on drivers side. I was stumped for awhile, went through and checked all harnesses on all 4 doors, everything looked good, after a couple days i went through and checked the harnesses again and sure enough once completed everything was back to normal, one had to have not been seated all the way (back to checking harnesses, even if you have to pull them and plug back in)

If the steering wheel isn't unlocking, I'm guessing its the harness on the steering wheel that got damaged. Pull it apart and inspect it thoroughly.

Look at service info #7 in this PDF. It might help has a description of the fuses for the cab and service info #6 shows the engine fuse box
