Usually nobody is stupid enough to expect performance gain from a tune on a NA engine lol I expect improved drivability when I get the tune, not a shorter 0-60, that should be a discussion on the turbo thread.

You will see improved midrange torque over stock (91 and 93 octane files), and that's backed up by Mat's dyno charts. It's definitely more than a butt dyno effect.

Hard to say. A 10% gain in the mid range and 1,000 more revs might be significant. We'll see.

I'd like to get 5 to 60 roll-on numbers for consistency, but I don't believe any apps do that.

why's that? it's a baseline and demonstrates something in performance. and fun is not a bad word.

Currently waiting for my cable to show up and Im a bit confused.
What part of 1.05 is running now? I did beta testing for diablo back in the day but this is my first go at a toyota with a non handheld dedicated tuner.
Is the gear lock working in S mode? Cause that would make me so happy.

Sorry I'm grumpy this morning apparently lol

On a 10% hp increase I would test 1/8m and 1/4m where you might see more difference, otherwise it's hard to see any gains when you reach 60 mph before you even hit 6000rpm in 2nd...

all good. i haven't seen anyone around here making a big deal about this. we're ALL about driveability, and that focus from the MT crowd is why OV is even here. but now we're restless and need some shit to do. :D importance or value level for this is pretty DAMN LOW.

It’s okay, figured, it’s still early. Luckily we MT crowd are an understanding bunch, we keep calm and shift on :burnrubber:...

We're restless because the turbo kit can't be ready soon enough hahaha You said you did the Hammer Hanger mod, care the explain what it is? Or link me to a thread. I know about the ADM and I'm planning on doing it soon, but never heard of the other one.

the stock hangers are one of the weakest parts on the truck. flimsy is the word. if you ever feel your rear end jittery from road bumps or whatever, that's the stock hangers flexing. these stop that dead, and significant other benefits for built trucks: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-hammer-hangers-soa-sua-archive-garage.519625/

Can’t believe I just saw this. How hard is the install? I’d love a smoother ride quality.

i didn't do the install. word on the street is PITA... drilling out the stock rivets is obnoxious but after that it's a bolt up. takes a bit of time, i paid a lot just for the install of those.

the out of the box benefit for me is getting the rear to feel like the front. the front of my truck is solid and smooth running. the rear has been jittery like crazy due to my E tires. after this install the chassis feels like one package for the first time. within my world of subtle handling dynamics this one is a big change.

Was worried about that :/ was hoping it was straight bolt on so I can return to stock configuration if needed. After it’s all said and done, would you say it’s worth the cost? I just peaked around regarding the install and your right, everyone says it’s not an easy/quick install.
