I like my flowmaster Delta flow 50 series. I did a video/review on it. No complaints from any neighbors or the boss (wife). The biggest factor for me was that the muffler is designed for trucks with 4/6 cylinder engines. It's easy to "over exhaust" your system by picking a muffler that isn't right for your vehicle.

I like my "MBRP Installer Series Single Exhaust System - Turn Down" its cat back just dumps out under the bed of the truck before the rear axl. Its not quiet, its noticeable, but not terribly loud inside the cab, granted that's all relative. I have the 4 banger so its about as deep as I could expect.. The "Drone" level matches the hum from my tires on the highway in terms of volume.

My sisters boyfriend had a Flowmaster dual setup, unsure of the series, on his V6 and i never liked the sound it made. IMO.. He got rid of it few years later for a Magnaflow setup which was a bit cleaner in IMO

Flowmaster is about the worst muffler company going...

Your stock exhaust will flow better than a 50 series all day every day..

Your stock unit has a massive accumulation chamber with baffles.. The Flowmaster designs do not, yet have just as restrictive baffles..

You'd be better off with a super turbo from Dynomax IMO..

Lots of dollars and no sense...
Big fan of my 50 Delta Flow. Not obnoxious but if you know what to listen for you hear it. Most people think it's just stock sound. Has enough throat but doesn't wake up the neighborhood and set off car alarms when you rip past. Also sits nicely up under not as bulky as stock unit. Get it!

Who puts aftermarket mufflers on a Tacoma   It's not an IROC-Z, stock is as good as it gets.

    maybe supercharged.... MAYBE.

but OP stick to stock... aftermarket exhausts on our v6's all sound like shit IMO. really the only v6 that sounds good with an aftermarket exhaust is the VW VR6... and at that point is it really a v6

    Absolutely not..

Any model of Flowmaster does nothing for your flow...

Inside your stock exhaust is a massive accumulation chamber... The gases are allowed to fill this chamber for the most part before they pass restriction..

Flowmaster and other "race" mufflers but baffles right in the direct flow before any accumulation or pressurization...

If you want to go for more flow it has to be straight through or install a stock F150 exhaust from an 09-10... That is a strait through muffler design with Helmholtz chambers...

    Amazing design...
