Chase him down? Get a police report ASAP and give them your photos, he’s going to say it was your fault when he talks to his insurance.

It has happened before to another member here and they are in court over it now.

Well almost 4 months later, I have a new mirror. USAA did fight that the driver of the uhaul, insured by them, should not be held responsible, for hitting a parked vehicle. Things only started to progress when I went after the driver through uhaul and my insurance company. Finally USAA agreed to cover the damages on November 16th, but waited over a month to issue a check.

Good lord if they are your insurance also I’d be finding a new insurance, never heard of not being responsible for your actions.

USAA can eat a bag of dicks. They are notorious for refusing claims. They f*cked me royally last year when I got t-boned by a woman running a red light with USAA coverage. They spent money on a lawyer and translator to fight the claim despite her assertion being totally implausible. I had to self represent because it wouldn’t have been financially logical to hire a lawyer since it was property damage only. I should have lawyered up and claimed injuries for me and my two kids. Our insurance and legal system is f-Ed.

Sorry for the rant, but USAA makes my blood boil after that nonsense.

Did you replace just the one side or did you end up getting two new mirrors? For the right price I’ll take it off your hands in really only need the hinge part that mounts to the door. Actually it’s for my Power Forlding Mirror Mods so I don’t have to open up my own perfectly fine OEM set

Well I’ll take it if you don’t mind. Can you do me a favor tho and take a pic of the bottom of the hinge part so I can see if it’s the right one. I’m pretty sure that it is but I have found out doing this mod there are like 3-4 OEM Mirrors out there Do you know if there is any damage to the hinge part?
