A fuse blew on my truck which had real funny effects. The fuse was called IG1 No. 2 and it is located behind the little storage bin on the lower left portion of the dash of my 2005 V6 Access Cab.

I completed my heated mirror install and started the truck up and moved the truck out of the garage. The following was not working: daytime running lights, and the fan motor for the cab HVAC system. Also, I had the ABS, parking brake, and locking rear diff. warning lights glowing on the dash. (my truck does not have a locking differential!)

I checked a bunch of fuses and found none blown.

Thanks to TacomaWorld, I had the vehicle electrical schematics in PDF form on my hard drive. I looked them over and found that this fuse is common to all the circuits mentionned. I had not checked it earlier as the truck was running and didn't think any fuse with a label related to the ignition could have been blown.

Pulled it out a few minutes ago and found it to be blown. The truck is now back to normal. No warning lights, and the DRLs and HVAC fan is working again!

    THANK YOU TACOMAWORLD!!!!

(I'll start another thread about the heated mirrors)
