120ac socket to inverter

The connector is under the front passenger seat area right after exiting the floor pan grommet. @mesojdm has plenty of them, they are the same as the Tail n Stop lamps connectors.

 

Where does the other plug connect to?

Me?...Trying to avoid cutting and/or soldering into the inverter connector to add a AC socket into the console and any other location in the cab.

Makes sense but was not very clear in your original post.

So if I understand correctly, you want @mesojdm to list the plugs and pins, like the ECT DIY plug, in his store so we can make our own T-harness.

Or possibly he make a T-harness with a pigtail for us to add an outlet in the cab.

Or you could just procure them from any source since all parts are listed...

What is the purpose of this thread.

Also that 3 pin connector is behind the outlet in the bed of the truck. So you would have to run wires all the way back into the cab if you're tapping into power there.

R21 is outside bed
BC Ground point is also InCab

 

I think what he's trying to say is that the inverter is in the bed, so if you put a T-harness in the cab, it's before the inverter and you'll be getting 12v DC.

 

Please don't help..the inverter is not in the Bed..

 

Oh, thought it was. Ok, then your solution should work fine.

 

Here's another to confuse


The connector V8 mates with 10802, which is the connector in the 2nd Gen's DTRL harness.

 

ED1, BC1 and V9 are 12vDC to the Inverter.
V8 pins 5 & 11 are 120v AC that run to BC2 THEN out the floor grommet to R21 in rear bed.

 

So the connection would be done outside then routed alongside the original wiring back into the vehicle. But as you can see, the interior needs to be removed "a bit". Maybe a little more than most would even attempt. On the 2nd GEN which uses same connector, this one is inside the cab before it exits the floor grommet, much nicer to hide, but still a task.
