Any issue getting your dome or map light bulbs to fit?

Just installed this grill on my TRD Off-Road. It was too much chrome, I like this much better.

 

Thanks. Still kinda iffy on them as far as fitment with 1.25 wheel spacers and 285 tires. Wheels have 0os and no rubbing before, This caused me to rub on my CMC and a little bit of my pinch weld.

Before: I couldn’t really turn much let alone Uturn without rubbing after spacers.
After Half ass pinch weld just so I can drive around town and I’m not rubbing turning anymore. Might be different articulating this setup. Ran out of time to hammer everything
Currently only slightly rubbing my cab mount in reverse. Planning to hammer everything and do a more agressive cmc one of these days.

 

The dome light bulb was a little loose but you can just bend the metal tab spring and adjust it so it holds tight.

The map lights are PCB’s instead of a bulb housing and they slide right in.

The hardest step was removing the oem map lights. I broke the first one and had to fish out the guys with needle nose pliers.

 

I installed my MESO dome light tonight, ended up breaking the dome mount bracket, now it won’t stay in, broke a clip on one corner, that’s what I get for doing it in the dark!

 

The clunking thing is just a Toyota thing. I’ve been driving Toyota’s since the 80’s and they all seem to do that to some extent. Even the wife’s Lexus does it. Don’t notice it in my 2017 so much. I’ve been told it’s the locking torque converter unlocking. Don’t know if that’s true or not. My 06 Tundra did it bad at time but after 160k miles it still worked like a champ!

Took off the sr5 badges. Going to dip the tacoma and v6 badges.

 

In Texas you can carry a concealed weapon into a bank, yes, a bank, if they do not have a 30.06 sign at the door. Or at this point in time, a 30.07 sign for open carry. There is no OOPS! involved in your post. Texas is it's own animal when it comes to carry. When I got my CHL we could only carry concealed, now we can carry open...at the same time our knife laws have opened up greatly! The state of Texas is awesome! when it comes to people protecting themselves. The next time you walk into your bank with a gun on your hip, rest easy, you're good to go.

Something about being in a bank with a bunch of people with guns makes me a bit nervous and I’ve been a gun guy my whole life. Ha! Now I do wish we had the Texas laws for protecting property at night.

I have basically the same setup. 285/75-16 on stock OR rims. 2” lift. 1.25 spacer. I had to cut the front inner fender well and some plastic at the rear. Didn’t have to cut cab mount.

 

Wheel spec makes a huge difference for fitment.... Plus my wheels 16x8 with 0os
