    I've been sitting on the fence about ordering these lights and don't like the sound of this. Hope USR gets back to you quickly and resolves this for you. Please keep us posted.

    @Techsan & @Deucer01

    Update - I still had issue when I got home from work ... so did some troubleshooting and figured out there was a short somewhere(likely caused by water) ; going through 4 fuses in the process. Again, the issue was not with the spliced wires - these were sealed with liquid tape, and conventional tape. But what I did do was take a hair dryer to get rid of the all moisture around the back of the assembly. I did this until the cloudiness inside cleared up. Then, I taped up some of the connectors as a preventative measure. Hopefully that takes care of the short issue - which I assume was caused by water getting in somewhere it should not be. Moisture is another issue which I hope doesn't return soon - I did put some silicone sealant around the areas I could reach without taking the whole thing apart.

    That said - I never received a call back from USR. In fact, the last time I called I asked to speak to Erick (who sold me these) and was told to leave an email and he/they would email when they had time. Their response - "you can leave your number but we may or may not call you back. Probably not. Ok? Now, we can email you when we have some time". No email either from them thus far.

    Agree with @tandemgeek above. Good comments, particularly one about working with a good reseller/dealer. Although for me personally, I doubt I would deal with USR again. Re Depo Headlights, if moisture issue returns I would likely opt with a different product rather than a replacement at this point. I like the the look and they've performed to date - until this issue - but reliability is important to me ... I don't like feeling like the other proverbial shoe will drop anytime.

    If you're getting a set of these, I would definitely make sure you apply sealant wherever you can and make sure all your connections are tight. Do that and you'll like 'em because they do look good! Pro good.

    Thanks for the update. Silver lining; these may be a good candidate for upgrading with RX350 projectors, MESO side markers, and other cool stuff. Then you can seal it yourself with Morimoto Retrorubber and know its good. I'm leaning on doing the BHLM myself now on my OEMs.

    I appreciate the update as well. Sadly they have plenty of time to answer my questions while I’m sitting on the fence, but no time for your customer support issues.

    Not sure if you guys are having issues with moisture because of the rubber grommet for the bulb socket that lights up the amber side marker or the turn signal. I noticed that the ones that came from USR were very loose so I took the ones from my factory lights to use. I can't remember right now which ones it was. Also where the wires come out for the DRL's aren't exactly sealed either. 2 places to develop moisture besides the main seal of the bucket. Take a look at those & see if that is maybe the issue

    @Deucer01 - I'll give those a closer look!
    @MrBrooks - Thanks for good info ... mine was loose as well; taking the grommet from the OEM light is a great idea ... I will do that.

    Hi There. How is the light output for the DRLs in your new DEPO headlights? Do they match the same output as the OEM DRLs? I was looking to get the same headlights.

    So when you say attach the three wires? You basically cut out that square piece with the things on it and wired directly into the factory connector?

    I don't think Friedtacolover is on here anymore but I can answer that

    I believe they have headlights specifically for the Sport & OffRoad models that already have LED DRL's so there is no cutting wires from your stock lights & splicing on to the USR DEPO lights. They didn't use to when these first came out.

    Just follow the drop down menu selections & choose to have the wiring connector on the lights for your OffRoad model.

    They have sets for SR/SR5 without LED DRL's & sets for Sport/OffRoad with LED DRL's. Sets without come with resistor plates to work with the LED upgrade

    Well. That’s the thing. I picked up a set from a IG guy who had them, never opened and for cheap so I bought those. So that’s why I was curious because according to the manufacture there isn’t just a harness you either have to purchase them for a specific model or you have to cut wires. Which I’m curious if I just cut the square thing off and wire direct into my led strips if that’s what he did. Because judging from his photo it kind of looks like that.

    Ah gotcha I see what's going on now. So don't use the resistor plates & find the 3 wire plug on your stock lights to cut & soldier on your factory DRL plugs to the new lights. Should be 3 wires coming from a rubber grommet

    That’s what I’m thinking. Since the colors are the same as my factory. And since I have factory drls. Shouldn’t it work?

    Yep splice em up & use some shrink wrap tubing to keep moisture out. Test them out before you put everything back together & good to go :thumbsup:

    Excellent man! I've had the DEPO's for quite a while now & they are good quality!
