Greetings all...I know this subject has been discussed a number of times on here but, I wanted to get some input on this new bulb I just found.

Any thoughts if this will work on a 2014 Toyota Tacoma Doublecab V6 with OEM LED taillights without having to wire in a resistor?

The same shit everyone else has.
I changed the flasher relay on my truck to compensate for LED turn signal bulbs and it worked out perfectly.

Much better than tryin to find a set of bulbs the supposedly correct the issue or adding resistors.

Keep in mind our trucks use CK 3157s up front.

I don't think that there is a LED compatible replacement flasher for a 2014 model - there isn't for my 2015...( there are a few posts re: modifying the OE flasher) Resistors are a quick, reliable and robust solution to hyper flash.

What flasher relay did you use?

If you have factory DTRL's, I don't think there is a direct replacement LED flasher available!!!! If you have DTRL's the installed flasher probably has 12 pins - O.E. 81980-04040. Pull the flasher, count the pins!

FWIW, my truck still has the original oem parking, signal and DLR bulbs in it: 4157NAK. Not sure what the diff is between the two bulbs.

Related: Is there a higher wattage, compatible substitute for the back-up bulbs in the 2nd gen? (non LED) The oem ones (921) on my truck are beyond weak: 18 watts. Birthday Cake candles are brighter. For comparison, the front signals are 28 watts.

By the way, how are the bulbs holding out? any issues so far? I assume you did not use any resistors with these?

Any update on these bulbs? I can't believe I can't find much info on these working for the 2nd gens.
