Hit up hills and Hollars in lumpkin today. If y’all have a weekend and $15 I would suggest checking out. They have just about everything for 2wd and 4wd. Wet and dry.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I see nothing. I can see where our first conversation is going to lead to :anonymous:

That’s the one I have been looking into. I want to give it a shot the weekend after the camp out since I’ll be in California that weekend. :annoyed:

Finally got an RTT! All set-up. Now for the suspension lift and some new shoes. Guy gave me an 8’ awning with the tent. Any ideas on how I can mount it without a roof rack on the cab?

Just need to get some risers that use the factory holes. Yakima works well. Also check out Rhino Rack cross bars, they make a bunch of accessories for their bars.
Here is a thread as well.

I have the same RTT! #Twinning As for the awning you can somehow mount it to the bed rack or the best option I'd suggest would be to get a Prinsu Rack and throw it on there but that gets expensive but looks cool/is very functional

Nice! I was not sure if just mounting it to the bed rack would hold it real well considering about 4’ of it would stick out unsupported above/next to the cab. Strongly considering the prinsu. Hoping to find a used one but I know those are gone as quickly as they become available. Maybe I’ll get lucky and a well priced “unicorn” will become available. They always seem to be in Cali with “local pickup only” also

What Tepui model is that? Doesn't look huge, which I like.

If you wanna get it going for this trip on the cheap. Do what josh said and mount it to the top of the bed rack, obviously on the passenger side. All you need is 4 bolts, a flat piece of metal to act as a backplate.
You got my number gimme a call, and I can talk ya thru it.
Then start looking for a nice rack. I know how you like to find the deals, so save your money and don’t by the crossbars. Look at Prinsu and Frontrunner.

It's the Ayer. It's a 2 person tent. Seeing I'm an extended cab I can only (realistically) bring one other person it doesn't make sense to get much bigger. I can fit 2 bags of clothes and one other person in the tent. Works for me and it was under $1k
