If your going to wheel them, then paint, if your just going to use them as steps, then powder.

If you plan on using your truck, just rattle can it. If you do a good primer and then several coats of rattle can bed liner it. Then you can touch it up nice and easy at the end of the season.

I only read the last 5 or 6 pages so forgive me if this was discussed earlier. Did you guys set aside armor for those who got screwed over and aren't from San Diego? Or was it basically anyone who can get there had free range?

Yes they did set stuff aside that was ordered and never fulfilled for those that never got refunds and could prove it by sending the info to Jason or Jerry.

Rattle can is the most economical. That's the route I took with my sliders.
If your sliders do not have fill plates, figure on about 1 can of etching primer and 1 can of paint per slider.
I used Krylon self etching primer and black with Satin finish. Satin finish looks very glossy at first but it'll dull down.

My Mobtown sliders have fill plates and took 1 can each. I really stretched the cans. To be really comfortable I would have used 1.5 cans per slider but I was lazy and didnt want to get more paint.

Line x is a little rough on the pants and leg, also tends to chip off in big chunks if you use them in the dirt.

They totally did, I was one of the guys they helped out. I had ordered the rear swing out and front bumper for my 4Runner, paid for it and never got a refund. These guys were awesome and I honestly can't thank them enough for helping me out like they did.

Good to know, I’ll keep that in mind when I call for a quote. I do like the idea of being able to touch it up with a can when I scratch it. Only reason I wanted to do line x is because the wife would accept it more that I got rid of the side steps for these and I know she’d complain that they too smooth and slippery haha
