So I got these lights about a month ago and finally had some time this evening to put them to use. These lights can be used for numerous applications but I chose to use them for lighting under my hood.

First off shipping was quick! Received the item about 3 days from when they promised to ship them. Came in a nicely packaged box and they also threw in a hat!

Appearance and quality of the item is very high. Very similar to other high quality LED strips I have seen. The 3M self-adhesive tape used to attach these strips stuck on very good to my hood and do not seem like they will move at all.

Installation was a breeze...Just connect the red wire to your 12V power source and the black wire to a ground. I would recommend using an "inline fuse" when installing these. The lights do not come with one so this is something you will have to purchase seperately along with extra wire depending on your application.

Would I buy and use these again? Yes but I think $35.99 is a little too much. I believe a fair price for these lights would be around $25.00. These lights can be used anywhere, are waterproof and everyone knows LED's last forever and hardly use any power!

    How I installed them....

Out of the box and taken out of the packaging.

All of the wiring is hidden thru the channels of the hood.

LED Strips installed, just need to complete the wiring. They are hardly noticeable!

Ran the wires to the driver side of the hood.

Ran the wires down the side of the fender. The red wire went directly to the battery using an inline fuse.

Connected the ground wire to a door pin switch. The lights turn on automatically when I open the hood.

Looks Awesome and great review!!! Thinking about doing this myself. What size inline fuse did you use? Also, has the engine heat affected the adhesion of the 3m tape at all?

    I used a 20 amp inline fuse.

It has only been 2 weeks but with over 100 degree weather and the 3M tape is holding up fine.

I modified this install just a little bit...Instead of running the power wire directly to the battery it is now ran to my Blue Sea Fuse Block.

Going this route I took the inline fuse out and is now fused with the Blue Sea Fuse Block.

9 month update: The lights are holding up well. The 3M adhesive is still intact and show no sign of peeling off.

Yes, they are bright enough. I use them all the time!
