My sister @PikestacoSister sells sweet vinyl decals that cover the chrome. They look great and are a cheap alternative. You can also search “plastidip” and tons of guys have plastidipped their wheels.

1 week old today! TRD OR wheels PD wheels. 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro ATM

 

Tacoma looks great. How do you like those Hankook tires? Thinking I might want a set for my truck, looking for a great light weight AT tire that won't kill my fuel mileage.

 

I haven't had them on that long, but so far I like them. I wish they had a more aggressive look to them, but just like you said I wanted an AT tire that was light after wouldn't kill my mileage and that's what I got. I need to post before and after of my old setup

Amazing how a set of tires and wheels change the look of a truck. Love the clean look of your Tacoma. Where did you score those off road wheels??

 

Craigslist! A lot of the guys who buy the OR model take them off anyway to but bigger stuff on. I miss the General Grabber AT2s I had on my last truck, but they were much heavier and hummed on the road.

Thanks! I can confirm that with factory wheels we can easily put a 265/75/16 tire on these trucks. I want to say that they are even cheaper then the 265/70/16 tires. $114 each free shipping from Amazon.

 

The truck looks awesome , I’m seriously thinking of picking up a set of the hankook dynapro atm tires for my recently acquired 17 inch Trd wheels , nice to hear others like them , don’t want to lose highway manners by putting too aggressive tire for my needs . I feel the hankook fills the spot pretty well
