Don’t see how it would be against anything anyways as it was publicly available before.

I guess I’m more shocked that no one has paper / digital copies.

There are videos on YouTube of various installs, and I can’t really imagine the instructions for cutting are vastly different given the similarities between models.

Or checking other vendors’ instructions. I mean .. they all bolt up at the same place.

You can only cut your bedsides off once haha. Worth while to wait a few days and see if some measurements show up prior to cutting it.
The 2nd gen and 3rd gen mounting instructions should be pretty damn similar, but the measurement from bedrail down are more than likely different.

I think the bedsides can be done. Its the cutting of the sheet metal under the tail lights, like on the 2nd gens i am not sure of! Did it change any from 2nd gen to 3rd gen?

Bondo doesn’t work like that.. it needs a structure to adhere to.

Run a layer of duct tape first, then bondo on top. Looks just like metal when it dries, and twice as strong.

Just make the cut low, and if you need to take more off, take more off 1/2" at a time.

I was thinking the same thing but you gotta mock up the bumper each time. Easier said than done.

*FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR HC REAR INSTRUCTIONS for 3rd GEN*

I was the installer at Pelfreybilt, and am happy to help.

    Before Cutting:
    1. Remove rear bumper (if memory serves me correct it’s 5 bolts per side 17mm) and disconnect sensor harness and trailer harness.
    2. Remove rear parts of inner fender liner, keeping the front and top part of fender liner intact and completely remove fender flare on both sides.

    Cutting:
    1. TAPE OFF WITH BLUE TAPE ABOVE AND BELOW TAILIGHT. Then mark with sharpie, a line starting at 1/4inch below the tailight. All the way to the wheel well opening.
    2. Once you have your line drawn and have verified measurements cut just below the line. (Leaving room to float in the cut with a sanding wheel.)
    3. After cut is made, re-attach fender flare. Cut flare to same height as bedside.
    4. Attach bedside supports (look like duck feet) to bed with 2 12mm screws. Then drill hole in bedside under the flare where the brackets attach.

    Mounting bumper:
1: With the help of two people lift bumper into position while someone underneath starts two bolts on each side using OEM bolts.

    2. Adjust bumper reattach harnesses for parking sensor and tag light. OEM taglights will fit on the Pelfreybilt HC rear.

If anyone needs any additional information shoot me a PM and I’ll respond as soon as I can. I’m not by my truck right now but I’ll try and add pictures for some more reference.
