This happen to anyone else with one of the new KBVoodoo TacoMax bed racks? Just took these out of the box. Blotchy powdercoat and bare metal exposed on every single piece of the rack. Had a bad experience with my last one concerning the powdercoat rusting off, but I was under the impression that they fixed it. but I’m assuming this is going to become a problem years down the road, what do y’all think? Is this acceptable?

Blotchiness on every piece, bare metal on every piece, powdercoat still feels sticky. But hey, atleast they included touch up paint in my package so I can do their job myself!

The same shit everyone else has.
Have you contacted the seller? If so, what did he say?

Most venders stand behind their work on here.

Not sure why KB Voodoo has not changed powder coaters yet. This is unacceptable.

Did you contact the seller? Would have been my first move. If you have to ask if the product you received is acceptable, you know it’s not.

I hope you get it worked out.

ARB doesn’t have these issues with powder coating. Come to think of it...can’t recall many manufacturers with this many issues

    This was my old rack

chad gave me a 100$ Promo code for a new Taco Max Rack, considering mine is rusting from the inside out after only a year. It was an extremely troublesome experience to even get the lowball 100$ promo code because chad looked my step brother up on Facebook because he originally purchased the rack and tried to say my warranty was voided. Anyways, so far only the first package has arrived (the rack ships in 2 different packages). The second one with the crossbars is arriving Monday because they sent one with usps and the other with fed ex, which is also odd.
