Ah. My wheels couldn’t accept the sensors, so I ended up doing the pipe bomb. It’s been 3-4 years and so far so good.

Not too sure about the first gens but for the seconds it’s 75-90 for everything. 75-90 is equivalent to synthetic for diffs so unless you run a 80-90 for no synthetic (which is what I run for the ARB’s)

A Napa may be better than cnd tore. They only have royal purple.

I have used amsoil and Lucas. All good stuff. If you have a limited slip you may need to add the additive.

Yeah I’m going to flush the trans too, which I’m a bit scared to do because it’s old and don’t want to push some shit into any fluid galleries. So I may just do a pan drop, filter replace, and top up then change again in 15k.

Because I have the diff locker I don’t need the additive I believe, mines open till I hit the (currently broken) fun switch.

Should be good. You could run a 80-90 which is a bit thicker. May help with the seals.

I know ARB suggests a non synthetic or thicker teal oil because fluid can be blown out of the air lines and what not. So far so good.

So if I was going non synthetic you’d recommend goin up up in viscosity for all 3?

Edit: disregard just saw your reply

rumor has it that the old oil just eats the new oil anyways making the drain and fill kind of pointless. but that's one of those things that could be true but may also be BS. like switching to synthetic oil on a high mileage car cuz seal will leak, or don't do a transmission flush if its never been done cuz u will ruin ur transmission.
