Sliders

Are they pumping out products again? Last I heard Bud was having some serious health issues and it was slowing down their production.

 

They are. Mine showed up a few weeks ago. Ordered first week of January

 

I believe they are. I didn't know about Bud's health, but when I spoke to one of the other guys last week, it sounded like they are all still working hard on the fab and testing for a few new products (in addition to the DCLB sliders I'm waiting on).

I do hope Bud is alright.

 

Yeah they had some issues last year where people were bitching about orders taking months and months, and they ended up having to get refunds...they came on here and posted that Bud was having bad health problems.

I went with Shrockworks.com had great customer service.

 

How close to finishing up those orders are you?Cant wait to get the email saying they are ready.

 

I’ll most likely buy local though, shipping is a biznatch on these things.

Since the cab and the frame flex independently, it's a REALLY bad idea to bolt a rigid slider to both things.

 

Picking up my RCI sliders today. Ordered them last week so I am very impressed with their turnaround time. They're also 15% off right now online which is a plus!

Where’s the confusion?

 

Most attach to just the frame-What brand attaches to both?
What brand attach to both cab and frame?

 

The rocky road sliders that were discussed earlier attach to both. We were talking about how it’s a bad design.

Still kind of new and learning here, question ? I assume the term kick out is referred the rear of the slider that comes out in front of the rear tire as in your picture ??????

I got the Caliraised sliders 25 degree w/kick out bc they were local to me, really happy with them. Bolt on, nice mounting brackets. But I do like some of the other options listed here that stick out a little farther and provide door ding protection
