I believe that there's a service bulletin for noise with high crosswinds. It's kind of like a whistling sound. I get it, but I've never bothered to address it. If you search these forums, I'm sure you'll find how to diagnose and get it fixed if you want.

Where exactly were these foam strips placed? Hard to tell with the closeups.

The 2020 I recently acquired is noisy, like a cracked window but slightly muffled (not the "kazoo" sound), compared to the 2019 I traded in. The 2019 had zero wind noise but the 2020 is very noisy from 40+ and even worse on windy days. It's with both the driver's door and passenger side front door.

If one holds a seashell to one's ear, the simulated euphoric sound of the roaring ocean waves will drown out any extraneous cacophonous noises. Not to mention the joy of seeing the disappointment on the face of the LEO who pulled you over thinking you were babbling on the phone.

Only annoying noise i get on very wind days with cross winds is what i believe the tonneau cover howl. Otherwise i rarely go much over 75 mph...the truck isn't any louder than others i've owned.

Thats weird, my 2020 access cab is fairly quiet all the time, especially at 60 mph, and below. Sounds like something is open or out of alignment.

My 2021 double cab whistles air from the driver side rear door window area, but only does it on the way to work in the early morning (3:30am). No noise on the way home in the afternoon.

I’m guessing the colder temperature in the morning may be making the weather seal a little less pliable, but warmed up it’s all good.

I’ll probably try the extra neoprene bit from upthead.
