Those are super nice looking. I just worry about the rivet holes and potential for rust. Last Toyota I had for 11 years. Hoping to surpass that by at least 5 with this one.

I've talked with him recently... 7-10 days? I think health concerns are figured out. At least that's the sense I got from him and he seemed in really good spirits.

I'm with you man. They look like a very poorly designed product.

Those are stainless torx screws not rivets. Had the sliders about 6 months and no signs of rust. Pretty cool cause I can take off the plates and just use grip tape if I wanted.

    Thanks!

Hey CaliRaised, do the 25* sliders stick out far enough to protect from door dings?

Our 25-degree sliders will not protect you from door dings, these are designed to be super low profile and tucked to your Tacoma. But our 0-degree sliders will help with door dings.

Oh that's too bad, so they won't protect the side of the truck if you slide sideways into a tree?

I was going to pick these up, I might have to consider a different model.

Torx are definitely better than rivets. I was just worried about an opportunity for rust either way. They are definitely some really nice looking sliders.
