    Seriously?!?!?
    I'm headed there last week of April until first week of May and today it's 38 degrees; I am not overheating today, meaning internal body temp.

    Possibly headed here -> Vore

    Check list is:
    Champion Radiator installed = check
    Retrofit resource projectors installed = check
    Fox 2.5 resi with DSC = delivered yesterday, to be installed in 2 days
    Replace all fluids = not checked...

    I'm just going off of my experience being in the Mojave desert in early April...it's mostly a 'high' desert and it was starting to get pretty hot around that time. Death Valley being much lower (and the hottest place on Earth) I imagine starts to get hot around the same time. But...we've had an unusually cold and wet winter here in SoCal this year so it might not get hot that early, hard to tell.

    There's a Death Valley thread on TW that's pretty active, I would post in there and ask those guys as they have a lot of experience being out there at different times of the year.

    Well this sucks, I checked the option button for high clearance tow hitch behind license plate (and sanity checked my order confirmation email (also the more exspensive option)), and recieved the high drag instead. Really irked cause how does one even fix this? Cut it off and have no hitch? And IMO having a low hung tow hitch option on a bumper like this seems like a fringe request anyhow. Like ordering a laptop without a screen or something, as the person full filling the order I would take a double or triple take.

    Cut it off and weld in a new hitch. Looks like the cut is already there.
    Also I’d follow up and get some money back.

    So he actually wanted it behind the license plate but got it the wrong way even after selecting the option. Yeah, that sucks. I read it wrong at first.

    Repaired my windshield wipers yesterday. Added info to an old thread. Basically, your wipers will come on by themselves, refuse to turn off, and the washer function dies. Apparently at some point the wire harness near the washer tank was damaged on some (how & how many?) 1st gens and eventually the wire corrodes in half. Thanks to this old thread, it was easy for me to find the problem.

    Edit, mine also were affected by activating turn signal lever. Sometimes they shutoff temporarily, but then came back on by themselves.

    Been looking through threads all night, and now my brain is mush. I’m running 5100s all around, top setting up front with original spring. Looking to replace the springs (275k on them). What brand is suggested (OME?) and what setting on the 5100 to maintain same height? I have an XtraCab, 3.4, with no additional weight up front and light to moderate off-roading. Looking to keep it under $200. Thanks in advance.

    Maybe I misread, sounded like he checked the box to have it behind the license plate.
