Same here! Advantage Toyota in Barboursville, WV is AWESOME, and they are doing the TSB as soon as the parts come in. Fannin Toyota in Ashland, KY can KISS MY ASS and BURN IN HELL the dirty Sons of Bitches! I tell anyone I meet wanting or already having a Toyo to steer clear of Fannin and I live in Ashand less than 5 minutes from them. I drove 40 miles to go to Advantage and will only deal with them.

Alright someone help me out here....What is a TSB?:help: Stop it, I can hear you all snickering in the back ground, and No, I'm not an Idiot, just a bit slow:mad:...The problem I see is, yes it will include my 2006 TRD Double Cab, BUT ,I already have 40,000 miles on it which puts me out of warrenty... I realized that these little short beds didn't have much for capacity in the first place, and did feel the bottoming out problem when I purchased new flooring for my kitchen...Not wanting to add leafs or helper leafs, I installed air bags to my rig...As I see it, unless there is a recall for safety on this, I am pretty much, Up a Polluted Tributory without any means of Propulsion :(...This is a correct assumption, right?

    Stock, for now!
ATTN FOUR CORNER'S RESIDENTS: New Country Auto in Durango gave me NO trouble. Looked up TSB, said they needed to order the parts and would call when they came in. Smooth

I think most of the local dealers around USA will finally end applying the TSB without any question and if they do it, then a little more effort will be needed from us to make it happen (load the truck properly).

But for all Laredoans, our only dealer Toyota of Laredo is accepting your complains and honoring the Rear Spring Harsh Ride TSB, call them (956) 722-5182.

    Good Luck.

    PS: Ask for Alex Palomo.

OK... I know a TSB covers my truck, but I'll be 3-years from production next month.

I haven't actually experienced the problem because I haven't loaded my truck enough, but I just know that I'll have the problem in December, the month after my warranty ends.

If I tell the stealership that I've had the problem, is there any way for them to look at the truck (examine the wheel wells, the leaf springs, etc.) and tell that it's not true? I'd like to get it done this weekend, but don't want to bother if they're definitely going to say no.

I'd also love to get the tailgate TSB done, but I'm not willing to damage my tailgate to do it!

You better try it now and not regret it later. You only will loose the time of a call, you do not need to go to their facilities (Rear Spring TSB). In the other hand ask someone to do it (bend) the tailgate for you (if that keep you away of any bad personal feeling).

    Regards.

I just picked up my 2009 TRD-OR DC on September 30th, and only have 162 miles on it, but my dealer still did the TSB with NO questions asked! I never actually tested the truck to see if the factory springs were any good, buy since they were willing to install the TSB springs, I decided to do it anyway. Why not, it's a free upgrade! The four-leaf springs have got to be better than the orginal three-leaf springs. I'm willing to bet that in September of 2009 the 2009 model year will be added to the TSB, just like the 2008's were just added.

So ive got a 5lug tacoma. 50,000 miles... My dealership says they know about the TSB, and parts are on order.... either one big idot or great customer service. i did buy the extended protection plan though.

Edit: I just received a call from the dealer again, and they have decided that due to excessive weight that was in the truck (ie 750lbs) they wont be servicing my vehicle.... If im not mistaking isnt the hauling cap. of a 4banger 1500lbs??? I might be Contacting the GM of the dealership..... IDEAS????

Great! Do not accept a no as an answer for the rear suspension TSB.

I can't find another thread about this, if there is let me know. Does anyone regret getting the TSB done because it made the ride worse or too stiff.

I haven't heard anyone complain about it. Although the ride is definitely stiffer.

The ride is stiffer, but only by a little bit. It is noticeable, but not uncomfortable in any way. At least not to me. I like it much better than before, and do not regret it in any way.

Love mine! No huge difference to me. Still rides like a truck. Best free mod you can get.
