i completely agree-- just because its a truck doesnt mean it has to look like a pile of ass. im kinda ocd so every little nick and scratch bugs the hell out of me

 

thats what im saying but i still use my truck, if that even matters

 

i do too-- but i payed a ton of money for it. its the most expensive thing ive ever bought and i would like to keep it as new as possible-- but now i have scratches in the bed and on the bed rail, swirl marks in the paint when i removed my badges, a ton of scuffs on the dash, and some weird stain in the seat that gets worse when i try to get it out

went off on a tangent there, but it bugs me when people say "its just a truck-- its supposed to get messed up"

 

Just ignore the DB's. I agree, some people must have more $$ than smarts.

I have a bed mat... protects the bed and prevents stuff from sliding

 

well when moving engines its nice that they can slide... maybe ill find an easy fix and change The tacomaWORLD at the same time

 

Really, what did you expect? You are asking how to fix a scratch on a surface that is meant for hauling stuff. Trucks are trucks and nice or not they are designed to haul stuff and people are going to call you a puss for complaining about a bed liner scratch. That being said, get some resin, fill it in and get a cover for the bed.

 

My car is a 1999 - bought new and it still pisses me off when people bash my doors or scratch it

 

i do like my bed mat but i find it a lil annoying for heavier tools. i was used to just sliding them into the bed from the tailgate now i have to lift them up and into place

But its nice that i dont have thousands of dollars worth of tools sliding around

and it hides all the scratches

 

i agree and disagree, ive gotten scratches on my underbody and went in a hti them with rust reformer b4 they started rusting... its more like a corrective mantanince for me use it fix what i messed up fix it again
