TRIM TO WIN!!!

Hey guys.. wondering if you guys have any pics of your trimming done to the liners and flares?? I’m currently running 295/70/17 on a -38 with CMC and pinch already done.. I’ve got some more work to do. After i get an alignment and pull a bit more caster 3°+ I’ll be ready to trim.. Just want to do it clean and efficiently!! And tips and or tricks?? Especially pics!!
Already trimmed this corner back a bit to make it drivable.. anyway lemme know

Yessir.. fox 2.5 DSCD.. I’m sitting at about 2.5” up front 23.5” hub to fender

Icon RXT leaf pack in rear (haven’t measured that yet)

 

Welp, all I know is if you trim paint, mask it off with some tape first. Good luck!

Yessir!! Very informative!! Very well done and just what i was looking for!! I feel that running a 295/70-17 on a -38 is going to be close in the amount of trimming needed for 35s with a 4.3BS. I ran these so i hopefully wouldn’t need a re-gear..

 

You’ll probably want a regear. Give it some time and see how you feel though.

 

Yup.. i live in FL so the high country here is the land fill.. so far so good.. we shall see

 

Just curious... is the wide tire desire in Florida for flotation on wet land?

 

It helps in the sugar sand here. As far as swamps & mud i can’t comment I’ll stay away for now. It can be treacherous here
