I have these, been running them for about a year now. Hell of an improvement over stock and much better than throwing in some LED replacement that just blasts out a bunch of bright white or blue light.

it seems like i saw somewhere that SR and TRD models have different headlight assembly. if the only difference is the DRL function then I would think it should still fit in the body of the Tacoma. I sure hope it fits my Limited.

Drl in the sr and sr5 are not led like the sport, offroad, pro and limiteds
Drls are in different locations. Sr/sr5 look more like 2nd gen drl.

Update on this.... they were just Spyder Headlights and they suck (All Spyder lights suck). The DRL and blinkers are really dim (you can only really see them at night) and the blinker does not go all the way down the "L" shape DRL, and they use H7 bulbs so I would have to buy New LEDs to put in them (Another $100). I'm returning them. It would be nice if i could get the TRD Pro blacked out headlights and Tail lights but the theme of the Limited Tacoma seems to be chrome so I suppose i'll stick with the chrome lights.

1200 1 lumen flashlights = 1200 lumen output. Sounds legit.

I also just got mine in a few days ago and DISAPPOINTMENT is an understatement. It is literally impossible to see the DAYTIME running lights during the DAY. Complete and udder rip off. I literally almost submitted a claim that they were defective until reading your post. Spyder will never have my business again because now I have to go through the trouble of returning them. Not to mention the bulbs suck too!

Have you checked junk yards for other models? Pretty sure the wiring harness is the same across models...

I picked up the TRD Pro Depo lights from Uniquestyleracings.com and Im very happy with the look and quality. If I recall correctly, they are set up so that SR5's can have DRL's. I also picked up their Rear TRD Pro style tail lights as well FWIW.

I have nothing of value to add to this thread, I just wanted to say that I like those wheels.

I DID submit a case that I got a defective unit. Like hell they gonna take my money and give me a crap product. and the High beam pattern on the driver side light is a circle, while the passenger high beam is a flat high line, and neither side is able to be horizontally adjusted. absolute trash. I learned a long time ago spyder was a terrible company when I decided to get new lights for my 02 camry that my sister ran into a ditch.

I've been attempting to send these back since my previous comment. They are avoiding me I swear, they keep saying for me to wait 24 business hours for me to get my return label but its been a week and I've called twice already. Did you have any luck submitting a defective claim?
