Funny cause they replaced my cab mounts without me even asking or them telling me about it.

I think they might have been inspired by the class action lawsuit. :) But yeah, I was extremely happy with the results of my frame replacement. All the old squeaks and rattles are gone.

Extending through 2017 models last I heard. Toyota Technicians are being trained on the new machine that will provide the coating for preventative measures. High pressure inside of the seams of the frame (Where the rust is originating)

I was told that I had to buy parts from them but they were at dealer cost. Yes I checked.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
I had Energy Suspension put on. Originals were not rusty, and were not going to be replaced.

Good deal then. I was looking under it after I got it back and noticed they were new so I checked my paperwork and they were on the parts list. I wish I had alot of the little stuff I wanted to replace ready when I took the truck in but I didnt, oh well.

It would appear to me that the replacement frames need to have a coating applied to the inside of them........

I wouldn't mind getting the internal frame coated on my 2006, any chance they will be revisiting the older 2005-2010 Tacomas which had different product applied internally and isn't as robust as this new procedure sounds like it will be longterm?

I did mine with 3M cavity wax and is way better then that other garbage that the dealers spray on.

I just found a hole in my frame. Had it coated back in 2017 when the warranty first came out. Just called the dealer and the woman who admitted she was unsure but said I think it just ended. I’m waiting for a call back from somebody. My 2009 should still be covered, correct?

Should be but schedule an appointment soon.
Call around and see what dealers have the most experience

Yes it should still be covered until 2021. Dont let them tell you your truck no longer applies cause it was already sprayed.

The dealer tried to tell me because mine was already sprayed that I was no longer eligible for the frame replacement. I demanded they inspect it and when they found a hole, they approved me.

Great thanks for the quick replies guys. I was concerned cause my dad just had his 2010 inspected and he’s getting a new one. The service tech told him your lucky you got it in here cause your time was almost up. I thought maybe something had changed.

And yes I intend on showing them I can put a screw driver through it if they give me any problems.
