Anyone with 4:88s tried any substantial off road driving with the aggressive tip in? I have 4:88s and 33's but unfortunately I have the 04B03 so can't see for my self. Im just curious as anybody with 4:88 knows 4lo is a lot more fun than stock but now I'm curious if the tip in is going to make things to hard to control when trying to feather the accellerator. Thanks in advance. Leaving for Moab this Monday and I guess I will find out how the base 1.05 does.

I have 33's and a 3 inch lift on my 2018 OR with stock gearing, and find that the 87/91 Performance tunes are not that great for off-roading. I don't get into anything super-gnarly, but for me the tip-in does indeed make it too difficult to feather the skinny pedal the right way. IMO the Base tunes are much better in this regard.

For me and my truck 4.88's, 34' tires, Armour, winch bumper ,RTT. The tip in is perfect for our trucks with all the extra weight it feels like a truck! Its responsive but not jerking like the stock guys have complained about or have concerns about! But you do definitely feel the response. A little driving around town and some bumper to bumper traffic you get used to it quickly! I am running 87 performance.

Orders with pending tracking have been dropped off.
Your tracking should be updated any time now.

Note- we have some more pending orders which will be shipping out tomorrow. So any order placed today / or waiting on tracking is not affected by this back-order.

We have only 20x cables left in stock and there will be a back order of cables for 3 weeks, due to manufacturer waiting on more PCBs.

That means that any order after this week (estimated) on-ward will have a shipping delay of roughly 3 weeks.
Any order placed between now and march 31rst will get the coupon code regardless of when the order ships.

Running 1.05 87 w/Gear Lock, made driving in the city, slow moving or stop and go traffic annoying for me. The 'Tip In' made it frustrating.
Gear Lock worked as advertised, but without it working in Cruise Control was a bummer. It was advertised as not working in Cruise Control by OVTune during development and deployment.

After driving on 1.05 87 w/Gear Lock for a couple hundred miles, I switched back to the 1.05 87 that was released in December.
I now have my truck back and enjoying the tune once again.

I'm on 4.88s and 34's and found the 93 performance gear lock tune's tip in to be too much for the type of wheeling we usually do. The place we go has a lot of rocks, ledges, and you have pick your lines nicely or you end up with damage. I found that I would tap the thrtottle, it would kind of lurch, then i would let go. Repeated this over and over... 1.05 base did not have this issue. I found that in ECT, S mode in 1 or 2, was much more controllable for slow rock crawling in 1.05 93 base.

I wish gear lock would be available on the base tune. Would make it really solid for slower crawling type wheeling.

Around town tho, I really enjoy the performance tune.... so I usually swap to base when we wheel and back to performance for the drive home

Just recieved my register code and flashed the 93 perf. tune. All I can say is wow, feel like ect button but without the annoying rev hang that leave you at 4k rpm and wont shift. I cant feel the tip in everyone talking about, but maybe because I used to lightly tap the padle.

The first day I flashed 91 G/L it was raining, so I slightly spun the tires a few times. I'm also pretty light on the pedal, so on dry streets it's not bad at all. Even in the rain I was able to learn to keep them from spinning.

After I update software in Flash Manager and then open P5Flash Utility I get a virus warning. ( Trojan:Win 32/Occamy.C ) Should I turn off virus protection and let that through. Is it part of FM software?
