I am a freak of nature Kurt. I run my high beams in the fog 90% of the time. The other 10% the fog is legit.

Those 90% times, even though I have the Morimoto XB fogs (white, not amber) I feel my Xenon Depot H11 Extreme Pro bulbs have more throw and will illuminate the eyes of deer and other critters even though there is bounce back from the fog.

I have had the chance to test this.

The last road of my trip home is approximately 3 miles long and is bordered by woods and fields. I have had the opportunity on numerous occasions to stop on the road, and test all my lighting options.

Fogs only, low beams only, low and high only, (I can turn off my daytime running lights - not to be confused with fog lights, they are a separate entity in the headlight housing) low, high & DRL, and then I've even tested all those combinations with my 32" bumper mounted and 40" roof mounted light bars, independently and in combinations as well.

The light bar on the bumper is good, but the pattern is flood/spot like the roof bar. The lower bar though is much better than the roof.

The absolute best is the low/high/DRL for me out in the country. Even in fog the deers eyes light up much better even with the bounce back than without.

Trinity Test Site at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. Birthplace of arguably the most important event in the 20th century. Or University of Chicago if you want to get technical because CP-1 demonstrated that a human sustained nuclear chain reaction was possible.

    But Trinity is much cooler.

Was going to say this. Leaving satisfied.

The US could use one of those.

Added to my world travel bucket list.

Are these FJ wheels? Google can be tricky sometimes.

Edited: the reason I ask is because I want to replace the centercaps.

Promotion is official 14 April, so on tax day I expect my TW time to greatly decrease.

Less TW, more $$. It's a sad trade, but a good one!
