so im thinking on doing 5100's all around. and getting ome 885's for the front of my truck. if i do this what would i need to set the 5100's at in order to get a full 3 inch lift up front? and would i need any spacers? ok now onto the rear. would the toytec AAL add enough lift to make the rear even with the front? thanks guys

The max I'd set the 5100's to would be .85". That combined with the 885's would give you approx. 3" of lift IIRC. For the rear a Toytec 1.5" or 2" AAL would be good for the back.

I wonder if it would be more worth your while to get the ome front shocks too.... the ome coils actually give you the lift. So the 5100's might be futile.

I have the billies and wish I would have got the ome lift. It would have give me a real 3 inch lift.

If i had a redo I would have done this....

    ome coils
    ome shocks/struts
    light racing uca's
1/4 spacer for driver side taco lean
    tsb 1.5 inch aal

    but thats just me

That would give over 3" lift....More like 3.75" lift. Only recomended IF you are running aftermarket UCA's. ;)

    driver+full gas tank+battery=heavy left side

I don't think the ome coils are side specific... chris 4x4 will know if you need to get the spacer or not...

Nope. They are not side specific. OME sells a Trim Packer, for use with their shocks. For the 5100's, a 1/4" spacer can be used.

not to thread jack or anything, but with the taco lean spacer corrector from Toytec: , do I need 3 longer mount bolts for the top of the front strut?

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification Chris.

On Wheelers, it says the 885's give 1.75" of lift... I assumed that with the coils would be close to 3".

I am not sure about this question.... I would go and look at the studs right not and measure how much length you have to play with... and if its more than the spacer you will need them.

Yeah....Not entirely sure why they list that. The 885 give almost 3" lift alone.

When I was looking at the OME springs from Wheelers they said that those numbers for the 884, 885 and 886 were not correct and just haven't updated them.

What do you have now? Why would you have gotten the OME kit instead? I am also looking at lifting my truck and I think I want the toytec ultimate kit.
