Just to clarify, you only give Tarheelfan_08 your contact info and he'll relay that to Weathertech. Save your credit card info for when Weathertech calls you.

At no point in this thread has anyone said to give your credit card info to anyone other than the Weathertech rep. If that was said in a pm then you have a valid gripe, otherwise you have misread/misinterpreted this process.

Send Tarheelfan your name, phone number, truck model, and what mats you want (front/rear, and color) and he will forward that info to Weathertech. Sometime after he submits the info a weathertech rep will call you to verify your order, get your address, and take your payment info. Most of us are going to wait for the call, and then call back to verify that the call originated from Weathertech, I would suggest doing the same.

    Hopefully this clears things up.:)

    ... ^^^ ... WRONG ...

This was part of download attachment at the bottom of the first posting page thus a part of this thread ... check for yourself.

    Customer Info:
Name as appears on Credit Card
    Phone Number
    Billing Address
    Billing Address (extra info)
    Billing City
    Billing State
    Billing Zip Code
    Shipping Address (Street)
    Shipping Address (extra info)
    Shipping City
    Shipping State
    Shipping Zip Code
    Vehicle Information
    Year
    Make
    Model
    Cab Size
    Color (Black, Tan or Gray)
    Front/Rear
Does the vehicle have retention pins on the passenger side floor?
Does the vehicle have the optional rear storage box/console?

Do you want other products from weather tech ?
    If yes, then what?

This is why I asked the question & PMed the guy and called WeatherTech ... pure & simple.

Hope this clears up my questions ... different info coming from different places.

PS ... Download the attachment on the first page if you want to see more info.

PPS ... This is my first group buy and I would be just as cautious if Mother Teresa was doing it ... :D .... No reflection on OP at all.

Um, you still haven't shown anywhere that someone asked for your credit card number.
Billing address =/= credit card number
Name on card =/= credit card number

EDIT: Yes, I did use the blanket statement of "credit card info", but I honestly didn't consider that someone would actually want to order without giving their name or address. Guess I just consider those to be in the public domain already.

It really shouldn't be this complicated. You aren't giving any sensitive info to anyone other than the Weathertech rep.

Safe from what? Whats the absolute worst that could happen? Some hacker gets your phone number and your address?

How many places do you think have your phone # and address? If somebody really wanted it they have plenty of other options.

    Conspiracy crazies! :spy::D
