Can also use it as a cheap quick cut torch. Full amps, mild stick, and then use the voltage to burn through smaller brackets. While not a clean cut by any means, definitley quick with certain brackets that a sawzaw or angle grinder might have a hard time at.

Yup, as I understand it, that is more or less what carbon arc gouging is- though in that case you would use a carbon rod, along the same line as an induction furnace, just a lot smaller.

Ben, these a good results. Especially if you are happy with the way it drives. Could the Caster be higher, yes. But that would require repositioning the UCA setting on your SPC arms.

Nice work on this project. Turned out well!

I get mine aligned at the dealer too. Cheapest in town surprisingly. Never had an issue, just takes forever.

Mine wouldn't touch my truck with the aftermarket suspension, told me to take it elsewhere.

My favorite tire, well favorite looking at least...I haven't run them, yet. They're pricey but damn they look good.

Yeah it was weird because one of the service advisors at that same dealership had offered to install my suspension way back, ended up doing it myself but when I took it in for an alignment some time later they wouldn't touch it. He was also gone too so maybe it has more to do with the service advisors and what they do or don't approve of.

Ill drop mine off Fridays after work and hope its done by 10 am saturday. Usually works out ok. Or I go before work, and the dealer will have an uber take me home where Ill use the 92 for the day. Then theyll send an uber to take me back after work and get my truck.

Probably, it worked out ok as I found a place just a couple miles from my house that's owned by a guy that's a T4R and Landcruiser enthusiast, always has several inside and outside the shop. They do a great job

Discount Tire has an eBay sale where you can get up to $100 off and Cooper has a $100 mail in rebate on these. Made them reasonable.

Good to know, been really happy with the Cooper STMaxx so far but will probably look at the Pros next time around

They’re heavy. We’ll see what the truck thinks about going from 265/70R16 to 285/70R17.....

Big reason why I went with a skinny 33" tire from a 32", the 33s are actually a couple lbs lighter than the 32s I had on before
