I hear you, I could walk into the BMV and register a VIN plate. Literally the little plate. With no questions asked. Ok one question, proof of ownership.
I would have to have turn signals, headlights, brake lights ect.... to avoid the Police.

If people want to know how I did this you can send me a message. It’s not perfect, but it works for me compared to what’s available.

A few mods here and there and counting....
Upgraded pops to a Tundra from a F150. Surprise gift from the siblings and i when he returns from vacation. Shes getting a full inside/outside detail today and tasteful/useful mods coming. ‘10 Tundra double cab TRD 4x4. Its primary purpose is to tow his 18’ foot fishing boat. Very jealous.

Is your rack DIY? Any details on the rounded corners? Really the only hold up for me right now is not knowing where to get those.

The sheet metal under my headlights was starting to crack. This can happen from really washboard/bumpy roads. So I cut it all out and welded some 14 gauge in there. I hope it holds, but I won't be surprised if another crack forms somewhere else.

Finally decided to do something with those foshing poles. Now they don't flop around and get damaged. Easy fix with some bungee cords and 550 cord.20190410_165020.jpg

I had the same thinking when I bought my fuse block. Better to have too much than not enough.
