Just because you don't drive it doesn't mean it's broken. :boink:

Did you just end up stacking washers instead of using a spacer? Also, any issues using the factory belt?

Ha well it's because I couldn't drive it! My radiator shit the bed and was waiting for parts to arrive. Then installed it all and it's been fine for a few days but now my bearing on the AC clutch is going out so I've got to fix that eventually. But for now I'm cutting the AC belt and living without AC whenever I drive the truck :bananadead:

I stacked 3-4 washers I can't remember. We tried welding it but we should've let the washers cool before we tacked again because it burnt right thru them haha. But I couldn't find a spacer at Home Depot, probably could've hit Ace but ah well

Hey Josh, love your build! First gens rule! Say I have a question, where did you source your switch plate? Held out for a long time ( bigger more expensive mandatory mods/repairs to make first) but that void below the stereo is kinda useless and with more switches and stuff on the horizon.... It’s on my short list- this winter maybe.
Thanks and keep it clean, it’s a sweet ride.

Thanks! It's been kinda slow around here due to the Supra and recenty buying a house. I should probably update a little bit.

But here's where I got the switch plate from

Thanks! I'll have to post a pic of it. So far I'm loving it except I'm traveling a lot more for work now, but the vehicles have a garage so I'm happy.

Hell yeah man! That's awesome, tough in CO with everything being so expensive

The garage thing is huge! I’m looking forward to being able to garage my lady’s ride AND the truck, especially going into winter. Scraping snow off of vehicles when it’s stupid cold is not fun by any stretch.

As for the home prices, we’re also selling in Colorado too, so that certainly helps.

Exactly! I'm actually planning on buying my first car back (92 4Runner) from my parents and using that as my daily's daily haha. I'll be able to garage the runner, the truck, the Supra and my gfs car with a little bit room left for a small workshop. Oh and I have an entire RV garage in the back completely empty :anonymous:

Oh yeah that's true I thought you were just renting, then yeah that'll help a ton.

That setup sounds awesome. You should put a lift in that RV garage!

I was renting a few years ago and then my fiancée and I moved into the house we’re selling now.

That’s the endgame. Nice lift with a welder and an entire workshop up there. But all in due time
