Jk..... not completely fail but voting was canceled on account of lack of support.
But we all are less deadly because we can now not have our 15 round magazine and only have 10.... which we can only load at the range anyhow.....

I don't believe that is an 01 Taco, unless the joke is over my head.

 

On a different note, I will need to replace pads and rotors before too long, and was going to go slotted or dimpled and slotted.
Since more than a couple of you guys are in the heavier truck league, I was hoping for some input on pad choice etc., as my experience is that ones that make a ton of dust and have a short lifespan rarely provide much, if any, better performance. I most definitely would like to know what to avoid as well. Thanks gents

Looks like an 01 to me?

 

It appears to be a best gen, however, my increasingly ventilated memory tells me that the shape of the front engine bay sheet metal should be different for an 01. I've been wrong many times before, so there is no great reward in alerting me to my failings.
@cynicalrider would know better than myself.

 

It does have wheels off a newer Taco but 1st gen double cabs were only 01-04. Not trying to prove you wrong just wanted to see if there was something different with the 01 that I wasn’t aware of.

 

It’s an 1st gen..... seeennnt it b4 the front end was removed.

 

I’ve done ebc dimpled and slotted rotors and yellow pads, and green pads, and now I’m using powerstop slotted rotors and pads. Either way my truck doesn’t like to stop.

 

That is the problem I'm trying to address. I have seen that EBC has 6000 and 7000 green pads. While my current pads do not fade on most conditions, they do like to be warm before they are at peak, but, the ATRAC chews them up pretty fast.

 

@HolyHandGrenade has an overweight truck.


Can’t remember what he has up front think he was happy with it though.
