Ordered some max trax mounting pins but couldn’t wait to mount up the boards. Got some ss hardware and attached them to the prinsu. 389A90C9-4B55-46ED-822F-56B8E7D48ACA.jpg 3E795524-6A4E-4287-AE98-32EE5B8BD279.jpgI like how the black boards blend in with the roof rack. Prolly gonna cancel the mounting pin order cuz this seems to work just fine and it’ll save me $40. 68207D29-977D-46F9-AE86-19AFE8821B94.jpgI don’t usually ride around with an axe/shovel/maxtrax mounted unless I’m wheelin’, this is just for “taco porn” sake and your perusal...

Finally got around to making some quickfist brackets for my axe that I commandeered from the US Army. OEM cover closes fine .

Truck looks awesome! I’m curious, what are your measurements on all 4 corners from center hub to bottom of fender?

Yes, I baked them. I used @mesojdm post for reference. I also used the same paints he did. Resealed with morimoto retrorubber. Cost me about $70 and a weekend.

I didn't either to be honest, I've played with the idea of doing it and had some vacation time. If I screwed up I could always buy used replacements. Opening wasn't bad tbh, it's getting the old sealant out to make room for the new sealant. That took longer than the whole bake and paint.

Had to throw in my 2 cents on jacks. The last Craftsman high lift 3 ton jack I bought lasted 14 months and Sears would only sell me replacement parts for it. I tossed it and shopped for weeks. I use jacks frequently and always have owned trucks. After much research I bought, what has turned out to be the best jack I have ever owned in my 60 years, from Northern Tool. It is the model XL35 low profile high lift 3.5 ton and it is great for both trucks and low sitting lowered cars. It ranges 3.5 inches to 21.5 inches. I have a 3 inch block I used once or twice but it has worked great on 95% of everything I work on. After 5 years of use I highly recommend it and it is only $180.
