    I'm no expert, but I'm betting the answer is NO. Toyota couldn't flash my ECU with the TRD tune because it had been previously flashed (by them) with T-SB-0044-14 update to reduce spark knock. (Their system looks for the NA Target Calibration ID before flashing the ECU. If it doesn't find one it recognizes, it won't flash.)

    I had to buy a "virgin" ECU after installing my supercharger. Thankfully, I sold my T-SB-0044-14 ECU to recoup some of the cost.

    I had an error with just the beta so uninstalled it. Installed the full version and the beta after that and then use the beta for read/write. Didn't have any errors (running windows 7 64bit was probably a factor in the error).

    You could try running it and if you don't get an error message you're good to go. If you do I would uninstall the beta, install the full version and then install the beta. Then you should be rolling.

    I don't think everybody had errors but I did.

    If you had trouble initially, make sure to uninstall whatever you have previously installed first.

    Ok I got everything loaded on computer. God I feel so dumb with computers these days. Anyone ever get a discount for credits? I no it said when I bought the tuner it would have a discount. But never saw anything

    So, with this hp tuner and new injectors will a fuel pressure gauge be of importance?
    I made this for an alternative for gauges. 3/16" carbon fiber. Spaced for 3, cut for two. 20190421_094855.jpg

    I think a few of us bought that deal with no luck on the discount. I could find no details whatsoever on how to do it so just said fuck it and bought credits through hptuners

    When I originally was looking to purchase, the Tuning School was selling credits for $47.49 each. It said that the credits did not become valid immediately, though. To me its not worth the hassle to save $10. Went straight to the source and encountered no issues.

    Gotcha, so your base stock motor / exhaust / intake tune is 50 bucks, + cost of the HP tuner, + Cost of a credit to license the vehicle (which allows for unlimited loading of tunes) Correct? Just trying to wrap my head around the licensing of all of this.


    Also with your base tune what are we looking that changed? Fueling / Ignition changes, or trans changes as well?
