I agree completely. It's cheap compared to what the repairs/tow would cost if it goes into limp mode. That was my motivation for getting rid of it. My truck threw a P2441 a few weeks back and I've been paranoid about it ever since

Lol yes, you can pimp your tuner out as much as you want once you pay to unlock your ECU

There is all kinds of stuff you can adjust like tire size, speedo (for running different gears/tires), throttle remapping (similar to what the sprint booster/pedal commander do), and all kinds of other stuff too. A game changer for sure

Here's the MPVI2 I bought, but like I said, all you'd need is credits if there was only a couple changes you wanted to make. If you wanted your own, they aren't too expensive though considering what you can do

I’ve got a lot of catching up to do on the programming side. It’s good to know there is someone in SA who I can reach out to. I’m gonna do some more reading but You just might have helped me spend some Amazon cards I think

 

Removed some of the factory emissions stuff that was prone to failure! Nothing too special going on here
