The fact that 3rd gens are so popular and there's so many of them around makes me want to hold on to my 2nd gen for a long time. I think 2nd gens will age well- they didn't try to look too futuristic.

In 20 years, internal combustion engined vehicle's will be collectables with very limited fueling stations...and the 3rd gens will garner the field on the collector auction block.

And to find one with less than 500k miles will pull the most $$$ !

I think the 1st Gen will always be known as the "Mini Trucks", 2004 being the last year.

Time will only tell if the 2nd or 3rd will make a mark like the first Gens did, but they will never replace the 1st Gen's place in history!

As long as all the computers last I will still love my 3rd gen.

I still drive my 1st gen once a week but really dont miss driving it as much as I thought I would.

Simplicity makes it last and the compact size keeps it a fun little scoot. But for overall utility and comfort the 3rd gen wins hands down.

We said this long time ago. Reminds me of the movie "Back to the Future". Cars hasn't really changed all that much. Things won't really start changing till there is no more gas left on this planet. :) LOL
