I pull up to stopped cars at redlights fast and it hasn’t done it. That’s all.

Absolutely! Once im off work i will get you that picture. For starters i did it my self....you want to get the bedliner spray from "Harbor Freight" ...after reading the reviews that is the best one to go with because the whole can can be used without running out of the aerosol and it sprays pretty even.

Help me understand your goal. The scuff guard and weather strip just lifts up and takes only seconds to align and replace. Avoiding this while possible will make the job at hand much much more difficult and will probably not yield as good of results.

Agree with this. Lifting the scuff guard and weather strip then replacing is easy peasy. Best way to install correctly.

Which model is that one exactly? I see a bunch that use 3M tape but don't see a version that is mounted directly into OEM holes that sounds convenient!

I just didn’t want to mess with the weather seal. Wasn’t sure what a pain it would be to replace. I ended up doing it without removing any of that and i think it turned out ok. I used carpenter tape to pull back the weather stripping and hold it there. I slid the protectors in as far and straight as I could.
