    Yep just another day in Idaho. Pace trucks run rampant around here! The Taco is the pace truck for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and the titan was the pace truck for CORR before it ended.

    That is the Tacoma that Toyota built for Bully Dog to use as the pace truck. Not sure who built it, someone in so-cal. CBI did all the tube work on the titan though. We were going to get to build the taco, but our time line didn't work with the time line that toyota had for the project so someone else got the build.

    Yep, that is the same truck, just new graphics for the 2010 race season. Sorry guys, I don't have any more pics or vids of it just yet. He is going to join us out at the lakechannel next time we head out that direction. It has rocks and sand dunes so it should be fun for the both of us. And the titan is for sale here in town if anyone wants it. He traded it in exactly as is. All the lights, GPS, and race radio and everything. Just new tires, red label General Grabbers.

    In their defense that place is not much of a mall. The parking lot is so rough you almost need 4x4 just to get across it.

    I see Mr. TRD's taco and that bully dog titian all the time around town. Nice to find local enthusiast! My brother-in-law use to work for Bully Dog and I am friends with a few of their employees. I think I remember seeing both of these truck in westwood parking lot when these pictures must have been taken, I must have been there getting a taco (let me clarify... Mexican taco) from the bus, I love those things!

    Well hello fbconvert. That parking lot is tore up! And the El Herridaro or whatever it is has the best spicy pork burrito in town. Sadly though, I don't drive the truck much anymore. My wife has decided that it is her truck and drives it most of the time so I drive the bimmer and the spec.B in town. Works for me cause I get to have fun in town and then take the truck when I get a chance to go play. Which is never lately. Lol. But if you want some info on the truck, places to wheel, the local club, or need parts just stop by Phil Meador Toyota. I am the parts manager there and pretty much live there now. Lol.

    They do have the best spicy pork in town! Its funny you should mention your wife taking your truck. The reason I traded my first gen ex-cab for this double cab was so my wife could fit our brand new son in the back seat, that way I could drive the more efficient camry to blackfoot were I work. Your right though it works out in the end. Plus now you have your old lady driving a sweet truck and realistically it doesn't get much sexier than that.

    We will definitely have to meet up some time though I want to see your truck up close and maybe get some ideas for my build.
