I had bad issues with shaking when I first got the truck. Turned out two of my aftermarket tires were bad and got them replaced by manufacturer. Spent a lot of time messing with other stuff until that was realized. Just a thought if you haven't looked at that, sometimes you just get bad rubber.

 

Total BS. It’s like they want to keep them sick so they can continue their payroll. My oldest has been without for 10 years and has only been to the dr 2-3 times.

Dang! The doc keeps telling us that being sick a lot now is good because it's building his immune system, and won't be sick as often when he's older. I sure as hell hope their right.

 

I’ve read this being an issue with the Flaken 16” tires. Guys were/are having a hell of a time getting true tires. Good thing I’m looking at their 17” lol havent seen that size being an issue but I’m sure it’s possible with any tire out there.

 

After seeing how my oldest hardly gets sick now I personally find that to be BS. Lol. If my youngest has a rough year again then I will insist they remove her tonsils. Again that me personally.

 

Nothing wrong with you wanting to have it done. Especially since in your case you have seen the "results" of having it done. I'm definitely going to "push" for it. I think it'll be best in the long run.

Something else to look into is whether your kid was formula fed or not. Mine was after a drug complication forced us into formula feeding. If so, he/she most likely missed out on the most important part of breastfeeding, which is the colostrum found in mother's milk, and absent in formula. Colostrum is super important to seal up the gut at that young age as well as solidify the immune system. Even if they were, try a colostrum supplement for a while and see what happens. *edit* Other things to look for in chronically sick children: Vitamin deficiencies such as Vitamin D, B Vitamins, Magnesium, Calcium, etc. My kid did a 180 after putting him on a multivitamin and vitamin d...

*edit* Also, it's extremely hard to overdose on Vitamin C, so load 'em up...I take 8000 mg daily along with my other supplement stack and I can't remember the last time I had anything worse than a slight head cold...

 

I actually mentioned the vitamins thing to my wife yesterday, when he developed the fever and still had it, before she took him to the doc yesterday afternoon. Which remind me... I told her to ask the doc about it, and highly doubt she did. I have to ask her about that, so thanks for reminding me!

Both of our kids were breast fed until they were about 1 1/2. That was a big thing on my wife's list - she wanted to breast feed, even thought it was time consuming because of pumping, having to do both things in a timely interval, etc. After hearing and reading about the benefits, I'm definitely glad she did, and I did what I could to help, which was wash the pumping pcs, etc.

As for the vitamins, it's definitely worth getting a blood panel done. Between the lack of outdoor time, the shit food they eat, the lack of proper nutrients in the good food they DO eat (Thanks modern farming practices), their levels could be way off...Get 'em checked.

 

Not a bad idea right there. Just take them to their pediatrician and ask them to do it?!

 

Yessir. Plus, a good doc will come up with some excuse as to why they need it, so insurance will cover it.

Good evening everyone!!! Had a few hours now to finally do something for me, lol. Decided to finally install my pedal commander on my console and bury the wires. Hopefully this thing helps. Had it a little over a week and it seems to be doing some good. Next weekend when I go to New Hampshire looking for my retirement land I’ll see how good it really is on a longer trip!! Now I’m drinking some beers on my front Beer patio. Dreaming of lift kits and big tires! Lol.

If you guys haven't followed the hptuners thread, you may be interested if you have a 05-15 V6. I uploaded a tune and the truck is much more responsive at lower throttle inputs. Can't say I have much more top end but I certainly have more gitty up in the normal driving range. Psst: it also eliminates the SAI on the late 2nd gens.
