It’s pretty simple, get throttle body cleaner and MAF cleaner. Take off the stock air box so you can see the butterfly on the TB, then get a toothbrush and some rags and spray the cleaner and scrub away. Open the butterfly and scrub everything until clean. Then spray the MAF without touching it and let dry. Reassemble everything and start it back up. It more than likely wont start on the first time, it’ll sputter and die. Just try it again and it’ll crank right up.

    Edit: here’s a write up.

It feels a bit lighter in the back, better visibility and the net is putty strong, I've brought many things from la to barstow and it holds up well

It's all in personal preference. I have no expectations that the bull bar will do any protection to the front bumper.

I don't remember which ones they were but I got mine on ebay. They stick better compared to the headliner

Well, went and put new tires on the truck. Was pretty worn when I bought it. Now need to go do front and rear shocks, and then alignment. thinking of going with 5100 and ome885 kit I see on Amazon. Honestly, this is DD so not going off road much, unless, when I go to upper Pa to family function.. thoughts?

Can’t go wrong with that set up. I’ve been running it for a little while and it’s great. You have just enough lift but not too much. Probably still get good alignment numbers without new UCAs. I decided to go with JBA UCAs since I am planning more lift and I have 285/70/17 tires so I was needing to adjust caster to stop tire rub.

From what I have been seeing here in the threads, was good route to take also. I just want some lift, not too much, and when I looked at the rear shock, seemed pretty worn out, and going over bumps tends to want to bounce.

That’s where I started too. The only other things I would suggest is an AAL for the rear. And 1/4” spacer for drivers side for taco lean. If you run those 5100s with OME885s in the front you are going to have a negative rake aka bro lean. I added the Heavy Metal 2” AAL from Amazon and it has been awesome. Just need to make sure you grease that thing when you put it in or it may squeak over bumps. If you click my build link in my signature you can get a link to the AAL.

Between the AAL and 1/4 spacer your are only adding about an extra $80-100 but they are both well worth it imho.

SIGH............time to turn some wrenches and stop the diff/axle housing seep. Have tightened and retightened bolts to point of stretching and yet the seep still creeps. Got pinion seal, axle seals, diff gasket and new brake shoes going in. Drums will also be had if in any iffy shape. Other than fresh gear oil, hoping that's it. Will chk on breather on extended hose to make sure it's OK while under there. Also will be replacing rr bumper skin with nice fresh undinged one too.....damn head-up-ass cell fon zombie bump, damn oem non-ass-saving bumper.........at least the fresh one was right price.

Thank you! It should come that way, the silver ring ruins the look of the wheel IMO.

I did my 60K the other day, one plug had metal shavings on it and another had oil. Too broke to do much about it though so it's easier not to worry about it.
