I need to invest in a good smoker. Using this cheap one (i got it for free) drives me crazy. Cant keep temps consistent to save my life.

What i found to be so boggling was that he was asking how far he could drive, but didnt know how MPHs or how much gas he had... I mean how are you supposed to solve for x when you dont know the other parameters?? Much less anyone else...

I honestly was hoping everyone would just say yes he would make it, then find pictures of him sitting on the side of the road...

If you are headed to work and you see that your gas is low, what do you do?
    • A. Stop for 5 min and put a few extra gallons of gas to be sure you make it
    • B. Risk it so you wont be late, but end up having to walk to a gas station wasting way more time? Also need to buy a gas can now...
    • C. Waste more time making a TW post about being rushed, and asking people if your truck will make a 140 mile trip on less than 1/4 of a tank.
Im also not really sure what spending $7 more dollars to get $.60 off a gallon of gas has to do with how far you will make it on the current amount of gas... I mean it seems that getting more gas was not an option at the time.

and the best thing is that the extension poles are only 5' long so they will fit in your short bed!

Nope we went to CO and Moab. I ended up bailing a day early and skipping NM.

I might be interested depending on when, how much notice and if I can get off work. Ive also been thinking about taking a week to go to CO again in late August or early September but am still trying to figure out when and if I can pull it off.

Yes. I’d like to go. Anytime past late June is good for me. Throw up some weekends you’re available and how many days. We can easily make it out there in one sitting. Roughly 11 hours.

NM is quite nice but during the summer the lower elevations are hot as fuck. I went across the NMBDR from around Carlsbad to Reserve and had a lot of fun last May. The northwest part is pretty cool as well, wandered there a bit last fall.
