Anyone use this?

Looking for anything to make this 3rd gen engine not suck, be slow, have lunges/lulls in power delivery and the like.

Not interested in spending a ton of $.

2 The engine doesn’t suck, it just doesn’t meet your preconceived expectations.

I've heard that ECT always on and/or OVTune are the beginning and end of making these things not suck. No personal experience, I spend too much fixing the truck after trails to invest yet.

 

His truck is a manual, no ECT.
But yes OVTune.

 

D'oh. I should have read closer. Either way, just pony up the 1k or whatever it takes for the tune OP. Or don't, your truck.

 

Again....reading is fundamental.
OVTune is $699

 

I was figuring plus laptop, but you're not wrong, most people should have one already.

 

$700 is a TON for something that the truck should already do. Tough pill to swallow.
