Don't waste your time derping or buying OEM replacement parts. Drop excessive money on a BAMF grill, who cares if it adds 140lbs to the front of your truck (it only adds 14, but same difference) and possibly causes the plastic surround to crack on occasion. Be A Man Forcryinoutloud.

No doubt. I saw them for the SR5 grilles also. I think the ones on the "Limited" Tacoma's.

Yea with the bed mat is stays put & the weight of the wheel it really never moves. Sometimes I have totes of stuff back there also. With the factory spare & chain hoist removed I do feel a lil lighter. I was thinking about putting the full size spare under but I like it more accessible & clean

Wow kinda cool but crazy expensive!!! They want another $28 to ship a sticker also & I'm guessing it would be a nightmare to install on the grill. I like to see innovation but at that price I would pass & just get the black SR trim!

I just try not to worry about hitting a bird flying across the highway. There is plenty of room for one to fit thru the grille. Hell it probably would not hurt anything anyways. Guess I'm just a old worry wort. LOL!

I did hit one with my '16 SR5 and it stuck right above the bumper cap in those thin slits in the grille. Didn't realize I hit one till I got home. It was a sparrow and it looked like it broke every bone in it's body.

I've seen this so many times around here with different vehicles (not mine) where birds get hit and end up in the grill, but alive, and they find them later on starting at everyone like, "let me out you f*ckers". Mostly hawks or owls from the stories I've seen and photos attached, slipped right through the grill at highway speeds.

Aw you know, just rolling 10 miles downhill from the gas station, pretending I get good mileage. I parked it reading 38.2

Definitely a legit concern. Maybe not a bird, but a good sized rock.

Had a large stone take out the a/c compressor on my 370Z.
