Without a speedometer calibration done it makes the truck feel really sluggish. You can get one from them but it wont change the number your cruise control shows when you set it

Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/75/17 on SCS F5’s. I had already done the CMC and castor pushed forward so just minor trimming but maybe it will need a tad more trimming when it’s flexing.... tbd

I thought I’d post up a pic of the CMC, pinch weld, and heat gun molding that was done.

My second gen rubbed with 285s not much but it rubbed.. my 3rd gen it seems the wheel wells are a bit larger.. aftermarket UCAS end up shifting the spindle further back towards the firewall/cab-mount.

Loving this size! I was just about to order 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers in load C but after seeing this thread....

Just picked up my truck last week. 2019 OR.

2” lift. JBA UCA’s. Ok with CMC, heat gun and minor plastic trimming but do not want to cut metal.

    17x8.5 wheels (Icon Rebound) w/ 4.5 backspacing, 0 offset.

    Doable?

Yes it’s doable. Just some more trimming involved!! Most guys running this size are about 2.5”. Alignment is key in clearing these!! Both LCA eccentrics will have to be maxed or as close to max as possible to move the tire away from cab mount. The JBAs should help compensate. I’m not too familiar with those UCAS but I’d think they should accommodate this without throwing your camber all outa whack. Just do it

Didn’t realize how much I rubbed on these tires til I went to Moab a couple weeks ago. Welp it self fixed itself and I don’t rub anymore lol! The fun was well worth it lol!

:headbang: Gotta love that self clearing!!! What ucas do you have? And are your LCAs maxed? I’m on a -38 with a 295/70/17 and i had some rubbing on passenger side till i maxed out both LCAs. I haven’t taken it to any place like Moab but it has been flexed..

Edit: Now I need a bumper a winch.. oh and some sliders please!! o_O 3BE4C6F0-9901-4F66-9A54-4690AEED21EC.jpg

Just finished adding my wheels and lift.
TRD Pro 17" Wheels 4mm Offset.
3" Rough Country lift with ball joint UCAS. (Not direct).
OEM Roof Rack with crossbar that pivot to side bars for no highway noise.
I must add doing an alignment and moving caster and adjusting the eccentric to move wheels back is a MUST. Anyone that doesn't do this is asking for trouble.
Cab mount chop was a necessity and remold fender wells.
    Oh.. Clazzio as well. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/seat-covers.557752/#post-18225163

Did you get the tires ? Price ?

I’ve ordered from them before, price was great, but they emailed me a few days later (before they shipped) with a new higher price. Had a back & forth email conversation with them, they claimed the market changed and their prices reflected those changes.

Here you go. 63.6 lbs. vs the 65 that Nitto quotes. Not too far off. Hope this helps.
