I’m up and prepping. Going over instructions and reading tips from everyone. I think I’m going to remove the speaker. Only 4 screws each so an added minute maybe.

Right now im washing my microfiber towels so I can wash my truck before usps delivers my tools. Then ill do the install, wait for my wife to come home from work then drive up the hill in the boonies when it gets late to get some shots.

Easy install with the help of a buddy. They should come from factory like this!

Done!! Well, tested, have to put everything back up. About 3 1/2 hours. Also took three water breaks and a taco break and watched some World Cup.
Soap the wires through the boot. Remove the speakers. Might not take anyone that long. I also rewired my limited edition turn signals so I can turn them off with a switch.
Off to put everything back up now. Love them!! Thanks to everyone who gave feed back and helped with instruction. Super helpful

Rather than remove the speakers, you could just remove the weather/water plastic guard by just tugging sharply at the sealant/adhesive. It separates pretty cleanly if pulled correctly and sticks back in place right after.

I have an un-installed still in the box Meso interior overhead rack I would trade ya.

Edit: I will also throw in the pieces that another member made that allows you to use your oem grab handles with the rack.

You’re absolutely correct. I had thought about that before I started but for me I personally liked removing the speaker to get my hand in and work with the boot and wires.
