Lol I have no clue what will happen in the future. However, I do know what happened in the past:
    https://www.automobilemag.com/news/q-a-with-2016-toyota-tacoma-chief-engineer-mike-sweers/

    Another blast from the past...
If you do a bit of research you will find that the frame rust problem was finally attributed it to bad product from the supplier. They fixed it around 2010. Shit like that can and will always happen, as evidenced by the Takata airbag debacle.
I have a ouija board and a magic 8 ball in my toolbox, along with some tarot cards just in case my primary means of seeing into the future break down. But unfortunately, they only fo out to 2025 with any certainity. Sorry, no bet.

Other than being completely wrong, you nailed it.
The frame design isn't why your 2nd gen rusted in half, all truck frames are made of steel. Unprotected steel rusts. Protect it and the corrosion rate drops, it doesn't stop it slows down. The contaminated frame coating applied by Dana Corporation (at one time a wholly owned subsidiary of Chrysler, that's a clue to why the problem continued for years after a known rust failure condition existed) was proven to accelerate rust, not prevent/slow rust. Yes 3rd Gens will rust, just like every other steel frame made. but rest assured, your 2nd Gen will continue to be the only truck ever produced that filled the internet with photos of frames snapped in half on service station lifts.

I'm moving to a rust free zone and I will have a barn on eight acres to park mine. Not a loser.

Ok. Makes sense.....an acre for the truck, and the rest for the fuel. Got it.

Actual footage from outside @hiPSI ’s ranch once the neighbours find out he has a Tundra.

I hate to say this but 90% of my driving is interstate. I am averaging around 18 mpg lol on trips. Not much different (less than 10%) from my MT Tacoma. I know right?

Why didn't OP just check it himself? Lol. Dude just spent a few hundred dollars on round trip fuel and another $100 to check fluid. Wtf?!

Is something wrong with that 15 if it gets atrocious gas mileage? Huge tires & lift?
Both my 2GEN V6 autos have averaged 16-20 depending how I drive. The 2013 with 100k, Leer Shell & 2 sets of roof racks has seen 21. The 4.7 V8 tundra I owned got the same as my taco. That was a butter smooth drivetrain. Regret selling it to this day.
