Ok so the camper is on, it worked fine, the guys doing the install had never seen the kB voodoo rails. Wiley said the bulb seal might wear a hole prematurely because the edge of the bed rail is different. The oem 2nd gen bed rail caps flare out a little bit at the top.

All is good though. Great group of guys, awesome product, such a cool facility.

I have a GFC on order and need to make sure a device installed in the bed of my Tacoma does not interfere with where the space frame brackets connect to the bed. Could someone with a GFC on a Tacoma 3rd gen DCSB measure the locations where the space frame brackets connect to the passenger side bed rails. Please take measurements from the cab wall of the bed to the centerline of each of the space frame brackets. Please include a measurement of the width of the brackets. Thanks.

Hi, did you ever get the measurements? I ordered a Cali
Raised bed molle system and am hoping that it will not interfere with the GFC on the same type of truck.

No one has replied with measurements for the space frame brackets on a 3rd gen DCSB. I'd really appreciate it if someone would.

Yep exactly. A friend of mine made the same trip from two hours further south than me and it was significantly cheaper than shipping. At least in gas, maybe not with wear and tear but oh well.

With the KB caps you’ll have to either swap to the puck or trim the fin down.

Nope. Have two people shit and dog stuff in the bed for two weeks worth of camping. All stock pro suspension for now.

Back of camera shot of camp last night with @JLink
We overlanded all the way 17 miles south of Bozeman and stayed at the Hood Creek Campgrounds in the Gallatin National Forrest at Highlite Reservoir.
Highly recommend that place. Beautiful scenery!
Camper did great the first night with two adults and a 60lb dog up top. We packed up camp this morning super easy and left a sleeping bag inside with a small Barebones lantern by accident. All panels in. Closed up super easy with the 2” mattress.
The ease of accessing bed items via the side doors makes it all worth it.
