When I first joined TW I looked into lifting my truck, but decided I didn't really want/need to. Well, less than a year and a lot of money later, I've added enough weight to the truck that upgrading the suspension really isn't optional anymore. I finally realized it when I parked next to a stock OR and realized just how low my truck sits now. My goal is really to only lift about 1" maybe 1.5" above stock where I started. But when I am looking at the advertised lift heights I'm assuming those heights are with a stock truck. So how should I factor in the added weight of my rig in order to lift to my desired height? For weight I have:
    • SSO slimline bumper (67 pounds)
    • 10K Smitty synthetic winch (85 pounds)
    • RCI skid plate set (IFS, tranny, & T-case) (123 pounds)
    • Mobtown Sliders (140 pounds)
    • Prinsu roof rack (40 pounds, maybe?)
    • Diamondback cover (80 pounds)
    • KB Voodoo bed rack, Hi-Lift, & 7 gallons of fuel (sometimes) (145 pounds)
    • CVT RTT (sometimes) (125 pounds)
    • PLUS whatever other camping / recovery gear I have in the truck on trips
I don't want to lift any higher because I want to avoid needing new UCAs. I also would like to avoid any complications down the line of higher lifts with steeper CV angles or any other added wear and tear on front end components. If possible I'd like to avoid installing the ECGS bearing, but I understand if it will be necessary then I can live with that. Looking to stay at or under a $2,000 budget. The three setups I'm considering are:
I did send an email out to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road, but I know they are in the process of moving facilities so I wanted to pick the mindhive here a bit too.

I personally went with the Bilstein 6112/5160 with Dakar HD leaf pack. Definitely better than the OME shock setup because the front has a 60mm shock and the rear has a remote res.

The Bilstein combo is probably similar in performance to an Icon stage 2 but you save some money.

But if you’re getting an HD Dakar for the rear it can be like 3.5-4 inch lift with an empty bed. So I recommend a 2 inch lift for the front (I put my Bilstein 6112 at 6/5)

I also got bigger tires (265/75/16) which are 31.5 inch diameter instead of the stock 30.5. I went with KO2’s

Nice truck! Looks very very similar to my setup. The 6112/5160 is definitely my top choice. 267/75/16 is also my plan once my Falkens wear out. How much lift did you gain in the front over stock? I see you don't have a winch, do you any skids? I'm trying to figure out where I would land on the 6/5 setup with my weight.

I have the basic TRD off-road skids. I got between 1.5-2 inches in front. It sits at 22.5 inches center hub to fender Front passenger (was 20.5 initially). Can’t say enough about 265/75/16. Plenty of room for up travel, enough clearance below, and no chopping needed!

Also a video I made. HD Dakar’s can take about 800-850 lbs in the rear to level with the 2 inch lift Bilstein in the front (not counting my sliders).

With that much front weight it might make sense to get 650 lb springs and placed at like 3/4 on the Bilstein 6112’s

Following. I'm in the same boat. I'm only running maybe 3-500#'s in the bed (no armor, sliders, etc). But, I've found the current suspension crazy soft since new. And now with a bit of a load (GFC, homemade drawer on one side, and a 60# dog :)) I hit the bump stops going over speed bumps - front and rear...

PS: I don't need any 'lift'. I don't want to screw up the alignment etc.

Maybe a Dakar medium pack would work? EL095R

See my build thread. 700 pound eibach springs in front and 2 inch add a leaf in rear. With all the gear on the truck it is completely level. 2.5 lift in front 1.5 in rear with all gear and 2 without

Thanks for the help everyone. Last time I looked at all this I was getting paralysis by analysis, so this time I jumped into it pretty fast. Just placed an order from @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc after speaking to Travis on the phone. He was great help. I went with the 6112/5160 combo, OME medium duty leaf (I don't always have the extra weight over the bed, and he said I could always add a leaf to that pack to basically recreate the heavy duty pack. If I started with the heavy duty pack I'd be stuck there), and Eibach 700 lb springs. Assembly on the fronts at the 5/4 setting. Also needed the U-bolt kit, carrier bearing drop, and leaf pack bushings. Is there anything else that anyone can think of that I'm missing?

Also, what is the consensus on needing the ECGS bearing replacement at 1.5" of lift?
